The old gardens of Beaudesert hall, the whole area was covered with irrigation systems and glasshouses, the remains of which can still be found. If you look at the lidar data on arcgis then you will see some of the gardens but the collosal amount of bell pits that show is staggering (mine shafts are dangerous). This area is also home to many red deer and muntjac. If you really get adventurous and look around you will find many ancient oak's, not all of which survived the mining industry in the area their massive carcasses lying in the woods where pollution overwhelmed them.
