Lasagne came with next to know meat or tomato sauce it was all white sauce and pasta sheets. It was returned for a fresh one to be made, 15 minutes later when the rest of my party were ordering desserts it still hadn't arrived so I cancelled it. Staff were friendly but didn't really have another solution for me, wasn't asked if I'd like anything else or a dessert. We paid the bill and I left without eating.
The decor is good. A nicely homely feel. Food was great and so was the alcohol. Having said that experienced some slightly rude staff who refused to serve alcohol at 10:55 when the closing time said 11:00.
First time visit. Went for an evening meal after a long drive from Dorset. I liked the decor. The pub has what I thought was an African theme - spear-like implements in large earthenware pots. Food is standard pub chain fare. Having said that, it was very tasty and my wife's burger was more than enough for her. The staff were very pleasant and polite. My only complaint (though it didn't really bother me on this occasion) was the speed of the food delivery. We seemed to wait a long time for our starters even though the restaurant was not particularly busy.
We visited at 8pm to find it a super quiet Sunday evening. A warm welcome, friendly staff and great service awaited us, we had our food within 20 minutes of ordering, which we found to be hot, tasty, generously portioned and at good prices. They seem to offer a varied menu and also have some good deals if visiting at the right time.
