Great food but a little more attention to customers would make for a 5 star rating. After the main course we waited for someone to clear our table and bring a desert menu. Unfortunately no one did.
Pub with log fires & dog friendly area.Large menu reasonable prices, not much for vegans though.Jacket potato would have been nice or a salad with grains perhapsWould visit again
Just popped in for a drink ..Fire going , so lovely and warm ..Lots of people eating Sunday Lunch.Food looked lovely. Lots of clean plates..Hubby had a pint of Pedigree, he said it was good..I had a gin & tonic.Great range of gins on offer.. Friendly staff .
This was our fourth visit but something had changed since we last ate here. The Horns is a very nicely decorated establishment, very comfortable and welcoming but the level of service and quality of the food had slipped. We had to wait to order and for the food to arrive. I had to ask at the bar for a sweet menu and even then it took some time for it to be brought to the table. The same thing for replenishing drinks. The food was OK but not as good as on previous visits.
Starter was ok warm bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. Main meals were not so good. Meat had a weird taste and the chips were under cooked in old oil. The pub was cold and I now understand why we were the only two people in there. Service was good though.
