I stayed over for 3 nights as had work in the area.My room was perfect. Comfy bed, lovely layout and a much welcomed bath. The room was nice and quiet and had a charming quality. The owners and staff here are lovely. They are friendly, polite and go out if their way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was seriously good... In fact one of my favourite ever breakfasts. I had one evening meal downstairs which was impressive, and one evening I asked if I could take it to my room as wanted some chill time. They carried it upstairs for me and again it tasted brilliant. The locals are all very welcoming and it is mainly a food pub with any regulars at the bar area. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and a place to visit for food.
