Nice forest pools and access to hills, there is also a lot of archeology on the surface as well. The area was the gardens to Beaudesert hall, and many relics of this can be found, just follow the Valleys. Also a vast amount of bell pit shafts were sunk here at a depth of about 10 to 20 meters, this lead to the first industrialised coal mining in this area that mined with shafts of up to 50 meters and used horizontal bore holes to drain the workings. If you look up the sites of these mines you can still see the subsided ground (beware of disused mine shafts).
