visited the forestry commission to take grandson to see Fr Christmas. everywhere was set out lovely, however I couldn't access the Fr Christmas area in my wheelchair and so didn't get to see my grandson see Fr Christmas. I appreciate not everything can be tailored for disabled but seeing as the grotto is put up each year some consideration could be given as to wether its disabled access friendly.
Always a nice atmosphere for Christmas tree choosing. Food is nice also.
A good place to park when exploring Cannock chase. Cafe much improved. Parking getting quite expensive at 6 for the day
Enjoyed a walk here, paths galore and you can find quiet spots away from the car park, plenty of room for walkers and cyclists within woodland. Charges for car park are reasonable and depend on lengthy of stay.
The car park was resurfaced in areas a while ago now, certainly made it better to drive around. Plenty of parking, they also host festivals/events here. The go ape is straight off the car park, along with the cycle shop and at the bottom end of the car park is the cafe, nice and clean. Friendly staff. There are also toilets near the cafe.
